Basketball Recap: Burke Bulldogs vs. Fremont Tigers
Burke played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 53-29 to the Fremont Tigers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 52-42 to the Tigers when the teams met back in January of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The team also got some help courtesy of Elli Weinandt, who scored five points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Burke and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Fremont, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.
Coming up, Burke won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Omaha Northwest at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
