Softball Recap: East Forsyth Comes Up Short

East Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Lassiter Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 13-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Lassiter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Coming up, East Forsyth will welcome Cedar Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lassiter, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Walton on the 27th.
