Softball Recap: Melcher-Dallas Triumphs

Melcher-Dallas took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lynnville-Sully, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Hawks on Monday. While the Saints didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Melcher-Dallas' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lynnville-Sully, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
