Mount Paran Christian has gone 8-2 against Fellowship Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mount Paran Christian Eagles will square off against the Fellowship Christian Paladins at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Mount Paran Christian proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mount Vernon 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Fellowship Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the WolfPack, sneaking past 9-7.

Harry Gardner looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Tristan Costoulas was a standout: he scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Reid Harke, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Mount Paran Christian's record is now 7-3. As for Fellowship Christian, their record now sits at 9-3.

Everything went Mount Paran Christian's way against Fellowship Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Mount Paran Christian made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Paran Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
