Softball Recap: Dodge County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dublin on Tuesday, Dodge County came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Bleckley County Royals by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Gabriella Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

Dodge County's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bleckley County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Dodge County will challenge Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bleckley County, they will take on East Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches.
