Softball Recap: Lisbon Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lisbon suffered their closest loss since June 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. If they were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in June of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lisbon's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for Wapsie Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

Lisbon has already played their next matchup, an 8-2 victory against Central City on the 26th. As for Wapsie Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Sumner-Fredericksburg on the 25th.
