Softball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence lost against Clear Creek-Amana on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 13-26. As for Clear Creek-Amana, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 29-8-1.

Coming up, Independence will head out to challenge Marion on Thursday. Clear Creek-Amana has already played their next contest (against Ottumwa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
