Last Friday, Rancho Cucamonga narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Chino Hills 2-1.

Despite a strong season so far, St. Lucy's has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Los Osos. That's two games in a row now that the Regents have lost by just one goal.

St. Lucy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-4. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-2.

Rancho Cucamonga beat St. Lucy's 3-1 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Rancho Cucamonga repeat their success, or does St. Lucy's have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
