Basketball Recap: University Prep Academy Takes a Loss

University Prep Academy and Pacific Collegiate squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but University Prep Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pacific Collegiate Pumas, falling 42-22. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

University Prep Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Pacific Collegiate and bumps their season record up to 14-10.

University Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacific Collegiate, they will head out to challenge Castilleja at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Castilleja will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pacific Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight.
