Soccer Game Preview: Poly vs. Valley View

The Poly Bears will head out to face off against the Valley View Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Poly's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Poly and Heritage finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Valley View hasn't lost a match since December 29, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Canyon Springs.

Valley View's draw makes their record 6-5-2 this season. As for Poly, they moved theirs to 11-6-2.

Poly couldn't quite get it done against Valley View when the teams last played back in December of 2025 as they fell 4-2. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
