Basketball Recap: El Dorado Takes a Loss

El Dorado won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Liberty Ranch Hawks and fell 61-24. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.

Despite the loss, El Dorado still got an impressive performance from Ashlyn Russell, who posted four points and seven boards.

Even though they lost, El Dorado smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Liberty Ranch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madisyn Robbins, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds. Kamrynn Blevins was another key player, putting up 16 points and six boards.
