Softball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindbergh Flyers. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to the Flyers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will take on Perryville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lindbergh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockwood Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
