You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Martin County on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Southside Seahawks out of the water with a 58-0 final score. The Gators pushed the score to 49-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Seahawks had no chance of recovering from.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Martin County, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Shelton Selby, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

The victory got Martin County back to even at 2-2. As for Southside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
