Preview: Azusa Aztecs vs. Workman Lobos
Azusa is on a six-game streak of home losses, the Lobos a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Azusa Aztecs will take on the Workman Lobos at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Wednesday, Azusa lost to the Dons on the road by a decisive 40-25 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Azusa in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Workman had to suffer through a rough 66-34 loss at the hands of the Nobles.
Azusa has been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Workman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-22.
Everything came up roses for Azusa against the Lobos in their previous matchup last Monday as the team secured a 46-12 win. Will Azusa repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
