Recap: Ligonier Valley Rams vs. Bethlehem Center Bulldogs
The Ligonier Valley Rams had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Bethlehem Center with a 38-33 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ligonier Valley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Ligonier Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lyla Barr out in front who scored 12 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marlee Miller, who scored 9 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds.
Ligonier Valley's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bethlehem Center, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Waynesburg Central the next time they take the court. Ligonier Valley will host Waynesburg Central at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Bethlehem Center will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on December 11th.
