Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Rock vs. King/Drew

The Eagle Rock Eagles will challenge the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eagle Rock will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Eagle Rock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let San Fernando get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Eagle Rock, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Quinn Powell and Fiona Walts scored all three of Eagle Rock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 51 goals.

Meanwhile, King/Drew had just enough and edged out Legacy 3-2 on Friday. Nkwachi Arisa had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble King/Drew got from the refs.

Eagle Rock's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for King/Drew, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-2.

Eagle Rock beat King/Drew by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
