Escondido Charter has gone 7-0-1 against Del Lago Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Escondido Charter Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Del Lago Academy Firebirds at 3:00 p.m. Escondido Charter will be strutting in after a victory while Del Lago Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Escondido Charter headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Ramona let them put that streak behind them. Escondido Charter blew past Ramona 5-1 on Friday. Abigail Gilbertson was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Del Lago Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Madison.

The win snapped Escondido Charter's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5-1 record. As for Del Lago Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Escondido Charter beat Del Lago Academy 3-1 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Escondido Charter since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
