Softball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Takes a Loss

St. Anne-Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southland Academy Raiders.

Leah Jimenez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Jaci Watkins, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

St. Anne-Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southland Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, St. Anne-Pacelli will challenge Flint River Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southland Academy, they will square off against Deerfield-Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
