Bowling Green is 8-2 against Wright City since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Silex hit Bowling Green with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bobcats lost 10-1 to the Owls.

Meanwhile, Wright City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Silex, falling 10-2.

Bowling Green's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wright City, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Bowling Green came out on top in a nail-biter against Wright City in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
