Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Dublin Fighting Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Northeast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Talley, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2. Another was Jordan Durham, who scored a run and stole Four bases.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Dublin, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Coming up, Northeast will face off against Warner Robins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dublin, they will head out to square off against Swainsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Swainsboro's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Dublin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
