Softball Recap: Blair Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Blair extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 25-8. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 15-14 W against the Elkhorn North Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted since September 6th.

Blair got a massive performance out of Regan Blattert, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Blattert has posted since back in August of 2024. Another player making a difference was London Larsen, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Blair lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in four consecutive contests.

As for Elkhorn North, they dropped their record down to 16-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 3.92 runs allowed.

On Elkhorn North's side, Naomi Cameron was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Debuse, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Blair beat Elkhorn North by a score of 8-6 later that day.
