Softball Recap: Douglass Beats Stephenson for Their Third Straight Victory

The matchup between Douglass and Stephenson on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Astros were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Jaguars. Considering the Astros have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Douglass, bringing their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Stephenson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.
