Basketball Recap: Anayla Saulo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Canyon Hills over Mission Vista

Canyon Hills was the 69-51 winner over Mission Vista when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Canyon Hills Rattlers fell 41-34 to Mission Vista on Wednesday. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon Hills' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anayla Saulo, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sophia Wilson, who earned nine points.

Canyon Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Mission Vista, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Canyon Hills will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on O'Farrell Charter at 9:00 a.m. on December 26th. As for Mission Vista, they will venture away from home to take on Olympian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
