Baseball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Wednesday, Triton came back down to earth. The Cobras fell just short of the Cleveland Clippers by a score of 9-7 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cobras have suffered since April 9th.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Cleveland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Triton has already played their next contest, a 9-8 loss against Sleepy Eye on the 16th. Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
