Baseball Recap: Mill Springs Academy vs. Cottage Cougars
Mill Springs Academy can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cottage Cougars with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mill Springs Academy.
Konrad Fletcher and Leo Stormont did most of the damage at the plate: Fletcher scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3, while Stormont scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadyn McSween, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Mill Springs Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3-1. As for Cottage, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
