Soccer Game Preview: Shadow Hills vs. Palm Desert

The Shadow Hills Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Palm Desert Aztecs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shadow Hills' last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Shadow Hills' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past Xavier Prep 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Knights were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Palm Desert fought the good fight in their overtime game against Rancho Mirage on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 1-0. The result was nothing new for the Aztecs as the squad haven't won a game since January 8th.

Palm Desert's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-4. As for Shadow Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.
