Soccer Recap: Delano Takes a Loss

Delano's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the McFarland Cougars by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Delano has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for McFarland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-3 record this season.

Delano has already played their next contest (against Taft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the McFarland duke it out with the Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
