Soccer Recap: St. Augustine Has No Trouble Against Mainland

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, St. Augustine brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the Mainland Buccaneers 6-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Yellow Jackets' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

St. Augustine's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Mainland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

St. Augustine will head out to take on Tocoi Creek at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. Tocoi Creek will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. Mainland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
