Softball Recap: Ashland-Greenwood Takes a Loss

Ashland-Greenwood lost against Northwest on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bluejays lost 18-3 to the Vikings. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bluejays, who until this game were averaging four runs allowed.

Ashland-Greenwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Dill, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for Ashland-Greenwood and nudges their season record down to 17-12. As for Northwest, the victory was the 24th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-2.

As of now, neither Ashland-Greenwood nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
