Softball Recap: Hillsboro's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hillsboro had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Seckman Jaguars. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-1 win on Thursday.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Seckman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

Coming up, Seckman will face off against Parkway South at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro will be paying especially close attention to the Jaguars' matchup: after the Jaguars face off against Webster Groves, they'll take on Hillsboro again at 4:30 p.m.
