Riverwood's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Pace Academy Knights 9-8. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Riverwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Pace Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Riverwood will head out to square off against Woodstock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pace Academy, they will be playing at home against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
