Allisan Cafolla was a major factor in Hazelwood West's win over Affton on Wednesday. Cafolla struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The effort marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in October of 2024.

Cafolla and Hazelwood West will head out on the road to challenge Ursuline Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Bears thanks in part to Cafolla: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched.
