Softball Recap: Osborne Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Osborne's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Hillgrove Hawks on Tuesday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hillgrove, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osborne will square off against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seminoles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.3 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hillgrove, they will challenge South Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
