Softball Recap: Windsor Academy Takes a Loss

Robert Toombs Christian Academy hit Windsor Academy with a four-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 9-8. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Kyndall Bowen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Rayne Wesson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Windsor Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

As of now, neither Windsor Academy nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
