Baseball Recap: McLean Takes a Loss

McLean was the 8-7 winner over Herndon when they last played one another on May 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

McLean's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Herndon, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

McLean does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Herndon, they will face off against Chantilly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
