Baseball Recap: Kendrick Takes a Loss

Kendrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Columbus Blue Devils, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cherokees of the 19-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Kendrick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Columbus, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Kendrick will welcome Spencer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbus, they are taking a road trip to take on Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbus will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
