Football Recap: Summit Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Academy lost against Northgate back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights took a 21-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flames. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summit Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Northgate, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Summit Academy will face off against Neshannock at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northgate, they will square off against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flames will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
