Pennsylvania High School Football - Summit Academy defeated by Northgate
October 10, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15202 The Northgate Flames were victorious over the visiting Summit Academy Knights football team by a score of 21-12 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Flames face the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) in a WPIAL A Big 7 test, on Friday, October 17. Northgate will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 0-7 record after their 45-8 non-league loss to Cornell (Coraopolis, PA).
With the defeat, Summit Academy drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to face the Lancers in a WPIAL A Big 7 game on Saturday, October 18. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 5-2. Neshannock lost 35-7 in their recent league game against South Side (Hookstown, PA)
