Volleyball Recap: Menaul's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Jemez Valley on Tuesday, Menaul came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 25-10, 25-11.

Ava Sorenson went supernova For Oak Grove Classical Academy., getting 25 digs. That's the most digs Sorenson has posted since back in September.

Menaul's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Menaul will challenge rival Monte Del Sol Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Grove Classical Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Jemez Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
