Soccer Game Preview: Ramona vs. Rubidoux

The Ramona Rams will venture away from home to take on the Rubidoux Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Ramona is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Jurupa Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 4-1. The game was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Rams it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Rubidoux was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to Norte Vista.

Ramona now has a losing record at 6-7-1. As for Rubidoux, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18-2.

Ramona skirted past Rubidoux 2-1 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ramona since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
