Meeker is a perfect 5-0 against Battle Mountain since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cowboys will host the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Meeker will be strutting in after a win while Battle Mountain will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Meeker beat Gunnison 11-8.

Meanwhile, Battle Mountain came up short against Eagle Valley on Thursday, falling 19-4. The Huskies have struggled against the Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Battle Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harper Jimenez Anders, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

Meeker's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Battle Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Meeker took their win against Battle Mountain in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 28-13 score. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
