Volleyball Recap: Aiken Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Augusta on Wednesday, Aiken came back down to earth. The Fighting Green Hornets fell just short of the Oakleaf Knights by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Aiken now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Oakleaf, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Aiken will head out to challenge Brookland-Cayce at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakleaf, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lake Howell at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Silverhawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
