Soccer Game Preview: Lindhurst vs. San Juan

The Lindhurst Blazers will take on the San Juan Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lindhurst has nine straight wins, San Juan has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Lindhurst's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mesa Verde as Lindhurst made off with a 4-0 victory. The Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, San Juan came up short against Esparto on Tuesday, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as San Juan was already down 6-1.

San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Lindhurst, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Everything went Lindhurst's way against San Juan when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Lindhurst made off with a 12-0 victory. Will Lindhurst repeat their success, or does San Juan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
