Rabun Gap-Nacoochee won the last time they faced Gainesville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles blew past the Red Elephants 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Gainesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.

Coming up, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will square off against Christ School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greenies have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Gainesville, they will take on Johns Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
