Baseball Recap: Norcross Comes Up Short

Norcross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peachtree Ridge Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Wednesday.

Norcross' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Peachtree Ridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norcross will host North Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Gwinnett will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Norcross surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peachtree Ridge, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Peachtree Ridge Lions challenge Duluth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. They are facing Duluth at the right time seeing as Duluth is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
