It was a good run, but San Marin unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns 55-51.

Camille Dake continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rancho Buena Vista, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 15 boards. That's the most rebounds Dake has posted since back in November of 2023. Arika Gonzales was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 14 points.

San Marin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Rancho Buena Vista, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

San Marin will look to defend their home court on January 4th against Las Lomas at 4:30 p.m. As for Rancho Buena Vista, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-27 loss against Pinewood on the 2nd.
