High school basketball: Hoophall Classic preview, how to watch

Top 10 Class of 2025 prospects A.J. Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer, Darryn Peterson, Nate Ament, Caleb Wilson, Chris Cenac, Koa Peat and Isiah Harwell headline five-day event.

The Hoophall Classic is annually the top showcase in high school basketball with teams from coast to coast taking the floor in Springfield, Mass. – home of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Teams from 19 states will be represented in the 23rd edition of event.

Nine teams ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 and seven ranked in the National Top 10 will take the floor beginning Thursday and running through Monday at Blake Arena on the campus of Springfield College.

Marquee matchups include National Top 10 No. 1 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) vs. No. 8 Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah) on Friday, MaxPreps Top 25 No. 15 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) vs. No. 17 Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) on Saturday, National Top 10 No. 3 Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) vs. No. 6 Utah Prep (Hurricane, Utah) on Sunday and MaxPreps Top 25 No. 1 Roosevelt (Eastvale, Calif.) vs. No. 4 Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) along with No. 2 Columbus (Miami, Fla.) vs. No. 8 Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.) on Monday.

Top 25 Class of 2025 prospects A.J. Dybantsa of Utah Prep, Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer of Columbus, Darryn Peterson of Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.), Nate Ament of Highland (Warrenton, Va.), Caleb Wilson of Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, Ga.), Chris Cenac of Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), Koa Peat of Perry, Isiah Harwell of Wasatch Academy, Brayden Burries of Roosevelt, Darius Acuff Jr. of IMG Academy, Tounde Yessoufou of St. Joseph (Santa Maria, Calif.), Dwayne Aristode of Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Darius Adams and Jalen Haralson of La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.) will be in action.

Top 25 Class of 2026 prospects expected to participate include Tyran Stokes of Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.), Caleb Holt of Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), Miikka Murrinen of AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.), Jordan Smith of Paul VI, Christian Collins of St. John Bosco, Dylan Mingo of Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.), Caleb Gaskins of Columbus and Kayden Allen of Montverde Academy.



All games Thursday will be streamed by BallerTV along with the 1 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. games and the nightcap Friday. The first three games of the day Saturday and Sunday along with the nightcaps on both days will also be streamed by BallerTV. 

Friday games at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. are streaming on the NBA app and Saturday games from 1:30 p.m. through 7 p.m. can also be accessed on the NBA app. Sunday games from 1 p.m. through 7 p.m. will be featured on the ESPN family of networks along with all games Monday.
