Basketball Recap: Berean Christian Comes Up Short

If Berean Christian was feeling good fresh off their 56-26 takedown of College Prep last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Berean Christian Eagles fell 40-27 to the Alhambra Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 714th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 202nd).

Berean Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Alhambra, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berean Christian will face off against Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alhambra, they will welcome Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Alhambra surely won't give up without a fight.
