Soccer Recap: Hephzibah Comes Up Short

Hephzibah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Laurens Raiders, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Raiders are ranked 36th).

Hephzibah's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for West Laurens, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Hephzibah will be playing at home against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on March 13th. As for West Laurens, they are taking a road trip to challenge East Laurens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Laurens' defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so East Laurens' offense will have their work cut out for them.
