Soccer Recap: Hope Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hope Christian fought the good fight in their overtime match against Capital on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1. Hope Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Capital apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Hope Christian's goal came courtesy of Michael Kokulis, who's now up to four this season.

Hope Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Capital, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hope Christian will host Cottonwood Classical Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capital, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Goddard at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
